I am going to put the cost of a packet of seeds in perspective...I routinely received a disposable baby bottle bag with 1 OZ of extended horse semen in it that cost from $2,000 to $25,000 per bag...and no...they WERE NOT gold-plated Dudes...

Mischka, what is the status of your SASE offer? I was a BIG fan of Brandyboy until I got mad at Burpee prices a few 4-5 years ago. I am sadly still sucked in by the lure of new and interesting-sounding items; good marketing/promotion on their part, really. "Black Pearl" was one I ordered this year, anyone have an opinion on this as compared to "Black Cherry?" Black Cherry is notoriously hard for me to germinate for some reason. It is so much later than the rest of my seeds that I end up taking the dome off for the other seedlings and the soil gets a bit dry for germinating, further slowing things down.

Thanks, ggr, for the heads up on BC. I'll be germinating it in its own container, with cover.

I read one opinion of Black Pearl on another forum, and they weren't impressed. Google it and I'm sure it will come up.

J, that is a good idea. For me, just when I thought for sure BC was a bust, the seedlings popped up. I really enjoyed the flavor and visual appeal when put with other cherry toms but it seemed a lot of trouble. I hope this Black Pearl isn't a spitter, LOL!

Hope you still have some seeds left. Getting to an F9 is amazing! Will drop a SASE in the mail tomorrow morning if they are available.

Thanks very much! Sandy

If it's not too late, I'd love to try them. If it is, I'm still looking forward to seeing how they do for everyone this year!

I haven't, but I suppose it's silly to complain about something that was going to be free lol.

I have not and I decided Miscka was likely very preoccupied right after this offer was made. LInda
