I am soo very late on getting in on this thread, and I feel as though I abandoned this board for the past months, work has been a bear, lost some employees due to Cancer and Drugs... not sure if you have any leftovers Tormato but I will take what I can get...

PM me a list of "types" (MMMM Categories) that you like/dislike, and how many total varieties you'd like. Since I may be off-line until next week, you have time for a specific varieties wish list.

Bumping this thread, since I'm probably the last one to start seedlings. My questions are whether there were any germination problems, and/or any off-leaf types?

Eva Purple Ball 2015/excellent All seedlings grew true to leaf type. I've saved the Bulgarian Triumph for next year and thank you for that suggestion. I salute you tomato friend. Here's to the best season ever. |

I didn't have any problems with the varieties that I got from the MMMM.
Gary, can you think of a more suited tomato to grow on a fence than WOW? It was my first thought. |

I'm growing about 20 varieties from the swap. I had zero germination from Monkey A$$, and off-type leaves on Ingegnoli Gigante Liscio (grew 1 -- should be RL, but it's PL), Daniel Burson (1 RL, 1 PL), and Brandywine Sudduth's (3 PL, 1 RL). According to what I read here (https://heritageseedmarket.com/index...daniel-burson/), the RL Daniel Burson should not be grown, but it's a healthy seedling so I'll probably grow it out.
I'm about a week from planting out, and so far, the "best in show" awards go to Summertime Green (Dwarf Project) and Ruffled Orange. Both have beautiful foliage and seem to be vigorous growers. I'm planning to save seeds from both for this year's swap, per the index card of suggestions. Many thanks, Tormato, for organizing the swap, and have a good season! |

Aunt Gertie's Gold and Brandy Boy didn't germinate at all for me.
All others are good.

Tormato,
Seeing the thread pop up again today reminded me that I never received the index card with suggestions of what seeds to save for next year's swap. It's a bit late for me to decide what to grow, but JIC I happened to grow the right varieties, it will help me know what to be sure to save lots of seed from. |

For me it was Brandy Boy (from the swap; another person sent me more and it grew well) and Kimberley that gave no results. Several seeds from both batches.
Ah well, I already have more than enough. |

Gary, got good germination from the Bulgarian Triumph and will save seeds. Got 2 seedlings from 5 seeds of (? '06) seeds of Elbe. Will save seeds from those as well.

Lindalana sends in the most E European varieties. You may want to PM her. Also, thanks for the reminder that I need to start a "2017/2018 MMMM questions" thread.
