Mystery heart fruit plant

This is shots from the Sungold plant which is not a Sungold, I would like anyone to tell me what this might be ? Thanks i will save seed anyway.

Those were supposed to be F1 Sungold?

How many plants did you have out and were they all the same and what was your seed source for the F1 seeds?

Any mix up at your end b'c that's so far from Sungold F1 that it makes me ask if you were growing any other hearts and if there could have been a seed mixup somewhere.

I just saw your other thread here about the same question where you said that you were sent F1 Sungold seeds by someone, so not purchased, so the only person who might be able to give you a clue is the person who sent them to you I would imagine.

Thanks I got a message from Kathy, she sent them to me last winter, private message anyway, this is so funny, no i do not have any heart plants. I shot these new shot this morning, the leaves maybe this would help you.

"Kathy" here, unfortunately unable to help solve the mystery of the cute little red tomato, though. I sent seeds to Filmnet earlier this year in response to his request for Sungold F1 seed. They came right out of a packet from Pinetree Garden Seeds, which is the only source I've ever used for this variety. I've only grown 2 plants from this packet and both yielded the expected plant and fruit. Makes me really curious as to what the rest of the seeds in this packet might produce! This is my 1st year growing any hearts in my garden and having seeds for them in my possession; but the ones that are growing in my garden have matured and have all been true to type, looking nothing like the little things pictured.

So have you tasted any of these fruits yet? All but one of the "orphans" that have shown up in my garden from trades this year have been spitters!

How big are your heart fruits, mine are 2 inch's Golf ball sizes, can you put some shots here? I have not eating any yet, they are red on 1 side only, funny little guys, i should put a shot of one i picked ?

The hearts I'm growing this year aren't red and aren't as small as the ones you show and describe. Kosovo are pink and have been 1/2-3/4 of a lb., Anna Russian are pink and nearly the same wt. as Kosovo, and Orange Russian 117 about a lb. and all of them are several inches tall and the size of baseballs/softballs rather than golfballs. You can see photos on Tatiana's website-I can't post pictures. There's no way you could have gotten any of these, though, as the Sungold packet was the only one I opened the day you asked for seed.

May be a seed from a blossom missed/overlooked at the place producing
the SunGold F1 seeds? I guess that could/must happen sometimes?

Kathy I called there website ,Donna the owner called me back, very nice women i sent her pictures. They will look at them and get back to me, Carolyn did not know of this either. I did tell Donna about other Maine organic fertilizer sellers i buy stuff from www.coastofmaine.com. I live 3/4hr from Maine, we live 1/4 from the coast here same weather. She did not know about tomatoville.com either.
Now if these taste really nice should i tell everyone here about them, maybe Craig H. also? really beautiful cute hearts, i will ripen a few and have some new shots of 1 cut open?

Carolyn did not know about these? No one has seen the cute one before i guess i did pick a few today to taste in 1 week, i did eat one today it was like Smarty F1 I got from Carolyn. Thick walls like a roma, but not ripe at all, i jumped in, had to taste it. I have been giving the ripe ones away, even the one i shot was ripe, but gone. Another day, Another mystery!!!

No, i did talk to the seller Kathy got them from https://www.superseeds.com/ they were to look at this problem but they are hybrids, so they did not grow them after, they are in Maine, they sell heirloom seeds, I forgot Sunold was a hybid, now we have left some on the plant to get really red. Boring taste
