Default Hydroponic KNO3 which concentrate tank?

Have looked around a little and not found anything conclusive on which concentrate tank to put potassium nitrate into. I have been putting it in the calcium nitrate tank. is this wrong?
100:1 mix
Can it cause problems?

Thx

I don't know about the equipment, but if I remember correctly, KNO3 and Ca(NO3)2 in water are very similar chemically, with free nitrate ions running around.

So you shouldn't have any problems in terms of unexpected reactions.

I'd guess you are fine, as well. It's phosphate that will precipitate with calcium and cause problems.

I put mine in the fertilizer tank, but it should not matter. It is Ca and P, and Ca and S that precipitate.

If you are growing heirlooms you had better watch that stuff, they do NOT like the excess N, and it will hinder your yield, but you will have beautiful vines as thick as a garden hose. LOL
