Coastal Pride Orange. This is a dwarf with orange heart shaped 4 oz fruit, abundant producer. Taste is not sweet, more like classic old fashioned flavor. Saving seeds to add to my seed offer.

Ok, Marsha, I know you ranked them but it's hard to keep track... so what are your top 5 based on your taste rankings?

So excited about the spring season now... :-)

Thanks for sharing all the pictures!

Marsha, I really, really appreciate that you take care of Dan's/grunt's seeds! He and Val were such great persons who deserve being still among tomato lovers through their seeds. Thank you so much!

I know you don't want to influence anyone, but I just realized that Cherokee Lime is a different tomato that Cherokee Lime Stripes, which I got seeds for from you last year . How do they compare to each other?

I would love to be influenced.

Go ahead and spill the beans; otherwise, you may be getting lots of PM with our email addresses. I'm sure every TV is looking at your pics...so that would take you a lot of time sending out all those emails. haha

CLS is a striped gwr tomato, which can have a pink center when cut, especially after it gets warmer. CL is not striped, it is a retained chlorophyll gwr with a clear epidermis. The taste on CL is my new favorite for gwr tomatoes. Best tasting to date.

OK 2 of my top 5 are Cherokee Lime, and Rebel Yell, my new favorite pink, and lets see, hmmm, what else do I have too many seeds and need to push. Hahahaha just kidding!

Marsha,

Is GGWT up towards the top? Or has it been pushed down by others?

Up towards the top of rankings? Yes it still is. This is the hardest season ever for me to pick top 5 because I have only had 1 spitter out of 87 varieties ( so far). It was on off type that I am not offering seeds for. All the rest of you guys grow when it's hot out, we have to grow in somewhat cooler than high summer weather due to the overnight temps we get here in summer, which won't allow fruit set, so what tasted great for me maybe won't for you.
The Rebel Yell, and Cherokee Lime, are well loved by many across the country. You can't go wrong with those 2. So many others this year too.

It finally got down to 57 overnight, now up to 64, not a cloud in sight. Donna, wanna come for a visit, all the maters you can eat? I could use some help, there is no more room for canning jars anywhere, and a few are just rotting on the vine, can't get to em!
