Default Cayenne production

What kind of production can I expect from a cayenne pepper plant.
I am trying to determine how many to plant.
Thank you!!

PS. I am also planting jalepanos and am still torn on the ratio of J to C.
These will all end up in salsas of some sort.

Well, FWIW,

I strongly prefer jalapeno over cayennes, so would go 2 to 1 favoring jalapeno. 'I' would actually only plant around 3 cayenne, but that's me....

My personal preference for salsa making (if the choice is solely between jalapeno and cayenne) would definitely be the jalapenos.
