Default Short season Fall favorites for the South

I am seeking advice on selecting short season varieties for the South. I plan to replant on Aug 15 and have them come in before the Nov 15 frost date here in Charleston. Varieties need to take the early heat and humidity - my thoughts are Stupice, early Green, and perhaps some dwarf varieties. Classic long season heirlooms often have to picked green. Has anyone trialed short season tomatoes for this scenario?
