Homemade mushrooms and cheese quesadillas. The mushrooms were sauteed in butter with the pork last night, so used some up. Turned out tasty.

I made soup today out of odds and ends I had on hand. Sausage, onion, Hatch chili, corn, beans, potatoes and a little macaroni, chicken broth, garlic powder, cumin, a little Italian seasoning, tomato sauce and a little butter. Even my wife liked it. Cheap eatin.

I wanted to add, that was the best beef I have had in a long time. There is a local grass-fed beef producer near me, and I tried their steaks. They were too tough to eat. This grass-fed roast was nothing like that. It was tender and delicious.

I didn't check the weight on it, but I ate it all in one sitting, so it wasn't that big. $12 was the original price. I paid $7. I would take that deal again any time.

DM, It was good. I ate some for lunch today.

EDIT: I posted this while on the phone with our internet support. This is the 5th time I've had to call them in the month of April. It's bad when you can call the phone company without looking at the phone to dial the number.)

Have you had a chance to try it with fresh shredded cabbage? Adds a whole new dimension. One of the few things I'll buy cabbage for...
