Pepper plant question
I have a pepper plant I'm calling droopy, he is beside 4 others in a 10 foot row surrounded by a variety of 4 pepper row, each row is a different pepper type. Green bell, jalapeño, Cheyenne, and banana. Droopy Is the only one in such bad shape and it's just the very top 3 leaves that just sag like its sad, I breath on it and gave it a shot of coffee ground and breath on it a few times a day but still he looks depressed, can I give him an anti depressant? I am determined to get droopy back to health, any ideas for him? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337388037.368881.jpg

4 days. I may have disturbed the root during transplant.

Right. It might be transplant shock. Also maybe roots are not breathing, or soil is too wet/compact? I say pull the plant and put it back in the pot with some Espoma Plant-tone in it, and pick the lower leaves. Alternatively, you can also use Foxfarm potting soil.

You might want to try sticking a pitch fork under the plant on all four sides and lifting a bit to create some air pockets and improve drainage. It worked for me more than once on tomatoes that had poor drainage.

Have you tried talking to it? Or maybe reading a book? It could just be bored!
