Default Tiny green beans already!

Hey, I've already got some tiny green beans forming on my pole beans. It's my first year growing pole beans, so I'm very excited at the prospect. They grow pretty fast, don't they?

Congratulations on your beans! Mine are just starting to flower and I'm looking forward to them. My sugar snap peas will be done in a couple of weeks and I'll put my butter beans in that spot, also pole. They'll take a while but I'll get a lot of beans at the end of the summer and into the fall.

I planted several varieties of greasy beans this year. My dad grew some greasy beans once when I was a kid, and we all, (my family), thought they had the best flavor of any he had ever grown. So I'm looking forward to them with great anticipation.

Plant them every two weeks and you will have a crop for the rest of the season.

I thought pole beans kept bearing all season anyway. Do they not?

That is correct, Holly. You only need to plant pole beans once a season. Usually, if you keep picking, they'll keep producing until late in the season. Most bush beans have to be planted again and again if you want to keep picking all summer.

Oh good! I was afraid I had miscalculated.
