Give me a few minutes. I tell you which one we got from Tractor supply and it's great.

This one, it's great and we paid full price. You get an awesome deal if you buy it.

This one would be great if you have a lot of stuff to tow. It's huge and I like the swivel on it.

Anyone who cans or uses quart and pint canning jars, Aldi's has them on sale now. The pints are sold at $7.49 a dozen, the quarts at $9.49 a dozen, both with lids and bands. Ball brand, too.

I picked some up today myself; I use mostly pints and half pints, but also picked up some of the quarts at that price and I was there, LOL.

Sometimes HEB has coupons that make them cheap.

No HEB up here. Good if you have one, I guess, not if you don't, but that is like all stores I guess.

That's a good deal. IIRC, a dozen quarts jars are close to $15 at Wally World.

I bought dozen quart jars ( Mason Jars ) at WM for $8 and some change. But the other day that I was there they had just Ball brand for over $11. But I am done canning anyway.

Thanks for the info, Rock.
I saw your post when you were having to deal with hurricane. So I did not wand to talk about this then.
We will get one of them sold by the Tractor Supplies. They ship free to the nearest store . I have also seen one on the shelf in the store. I will check it again tomorrow.
I have lots of fire wood way in the back in the woods that I have to haul in preparation for use in the stove this winter.

Yep, that second one is probably perfect for firewood.

Posted this in the canning thread, too.

Was buying another small ceramic knife and this one came with a ceramic harp type peeler. I really like that peeler- zip zap, done. And thin peeling with almost no pressure on it. Easy on the hands, too.

Did you ever pick up your cart? We use ours all the time and last week we used it to take a 8 foot tall tree from my truck to the backyard. We left it standing inside it and I gave it some water to keep the root ball moist. It sat like that for two days standing straight up. I was able to pull it myself from the back to the front when we were planting the tree. We really like it. We bought a huge bbq cover for it at Lowe's after we bought it because it has to stay outside. We just set it on the patio, lift it like we are dumping it and put the handle toward the inside. Then we cover it and it stays covered perfectly all the way to the concrete.

I have a ceramic peeler to but hardly ever peel anything.

Works great though.

The TS store had one Work Force brand, w/ 1000 lbs capacity on sale for $79. I got that one. I am happy with it . I have been hauling wood from way back in the woods , splitting and racking up.
It is a plain metal cart, with no dump feature.
Well, $79 bucks is about the price of a good wheel barrow. I am happy with my purchase.

That's great news. Glad you are happy with your choice in tools.

Out of desperation I had to buy some sort of small tool box for the truck.
Something I can take out and put back in as needed.
Here is the reason why.
I have to carry huge amounts of stuff in the truck to do my job including all the parts I need.
This includes fittings and the parts to be installed like horns detectors wire and beacons.
You name it, it is stuffed in the truck.
The only place I had to keep many of my tools was in the truck someplace or the storage holes the put under the rear seat flaps.
Well guess what, to get to that stuff I had to remove everything every time I needed something.
So tool box looking I went.
I looked at all the brands and found I like the RIDGID modular system the best.
For one reason or another I didn't care for the other stuff.
At 22 inches wide it fits perfectly in the back area of my truck and holds every tool I use.
The middle one is the one I got yesterday.
I can keep my hols saws knock out sets hacksaw hammers and so on in the bottom area.
The top tray is good for many of my other hand tools.
The other good thing is it can get rained on and not rust nor will my tools get wet.

The next one I get will be the smaller organizer I may get two of them.

The bottom section has wheels so you can roll the whole thing around.
everything locks into the each other and is stack able.

Here is a video where a gal uses one for camping.

Many uses for these things.
