Default Cherry Tomatoes from the Grocery Store

These are quite good ! I bought a carton of cherry tomatoes at the grocery store today, the label says vine ripened, product of Mexico, Andrew and Williamson, San Diego. The store is Albertson's. Pretty good !
I was surprised to see a warning not to refrigerate. Or maybe I've just never seen this on other packages from other companies.

Deborah, the warning not to refrigerate tomatoes has nothing to do as to other countries. Home grown tomatoes should not be refrigerated either since they lose flavor rapidly, OK maybe a few days in the fridge, but that's that,

Yes, I know. I just don't ever recall seeing the warning on ANY package.

My guess is refrigeration will cause a decline in flavor(as Carolyn alluded to), so the warning could help for repeat sales. Just a guess.

Good point Doug. I've had several with some good salt already and I never eat several in a row.
