Check it out, a five-gallon fabric pot for ten cents:

I'm planning to grow a few hanging basket varieties and dwarfs in them. It would be easy to build a plywood raceway lined with plastic to water them.

That is very good price. And the bag looks pretty decent and nice green color.
I paid 65 cent for 5 gallon and 90 cents for 7 gallon from Fred Meyer.

The UPS man just delivered my order. They are nice. One of the 20 I ordered has a dime-sized hole in it, but at ten cents it's hard to complain.

Fantastic deal! Any concerns for potential lead or chemical leach?

From what I read, tomatoes don't uptake lead. And even the bags with the highest readings are still below the government safety threshold for lead in soil. They made nice gift bags to use for Christmas gifts today.

As far as some of this worry about chemicals in soil or on boards or bags getting in our food.
We need to think about how many cubic feet of contaminated air we suck in and out every day.
Just a thought.
