I don't understand what the role of bleach, oxyclean and fertilizer is ?
The embryo gets the nutrition stored in the seed. And that is all needed to germinate and grow few leave and root. All bleach solution may do is to soften the shell/cover so that the sprout can push out. And for this reason just plain water/moisture and 65-75F temperature should do. However bleach might help prevent infection/rotting if it takes a long time for the embryo to wake up. Just mu thinking. Gardeneer. |

I've done two batches of B. Chab from Cole_R, the
1st was 3 out of 4, with 1 runt being discarded = 2 healthy plants. 2nd was 2 out of 4, with 1 runt being culled = 1 healthy plant. 3 plants out of 8 seeds, not bad at all. I soak them o/n with a splash of 7-8-14 and/or TapNRoots, in growstone GS-4 coco-mix w/o the big rocks. Improved my batting averages a lot. |

In the soak plain water I prefer to add some H2O2, for hygiene and to prevent rotting. Some gardener would also soak starter mix with it to fight damp off. Gardeneer |
