Default Cherokee Jumbo

I am growing a variety named Cherokee Jumbo from Fusion_Power here on TVille. Darrel says eats like Cherokee Purple but on consistently larger fruit. It is a stabilized bee cross of Cherokee Purple and an unknown tomato. My plant is vigorous and healthy, fairly dense foliage. Pictured is the number of green fruits that have set, it looks to be a generous producer. Anyone else growing this one?

Looks fantastic! I would love to grow next year. Maybe seeds could find their way to MMMM?

I also have one Cherokee Jumbo plant. It looks good, but I don't have a photo, because it is among other tomatoes and you can't really take pictures. I lead the plant as well as all indeterminants per one stem.

Yes this could be a very worthy variety that all CP fans would love.
I'm going to stay tuned for further taste and productivity reports on this one.

Darrell, are seeds available or can we purchase the plants from your inventory? Looks like a good one for next year.

Given the number of people who got seed a few months ago, I'm fairly sure it will be widely available next spring. If not, I have plenty of seed still.

Mine isn't purple. Lol.
I only had room for one, in a grow bag. Nice plant, began healthy, nice grouping of tomatoes so far.

First one has more of a brick color. Very attractive.

Will be sliced for BLT later on.

Well, the inside certainly looked like a CP. Didn't have that bold CP flavor though. Still, not bad at all.

We'll see what the next one brings.
