Forgot to let y'all know voting is open! Please vote for me if you have a Facebook account (if you want to, of course)!! I'm not sure if this link goes right to the entry, but it's the Bluebonnet House photo (last one in my original post): http://ulink.tv/g-12130-78250

Edit: If you search in the search box at the top of the contest app for 'Kelly' it's one of two results, and if you search 'Bluebonnet House' it's also one of two results (mine's the better one )

There are two bluebonnet house pictures, which seems to be causing confusion since I think three people so far voting for me accidentally voted for the other one. Mine is the one that is not oversaturated!

You are right. I did vote for the wrong one.

I have to write this... The pictures in the contest are too small and do not show the quality as well as they should. So many pictures of children and dogs will tug at people's heartstrings. I personally would rather see pictures of nature without little children and puppies. My desktop background is of a Thistle. My other user background is a waterfall.

I do want to apologize for voting for the wrong one.

No worries, Robert! You can vote daily.

I hate the way the contest app works, I should be able to link directly to the image. I also think that since they're breaking up prizes by category (family, pet, landscape) that the entries should be divided that way as well. It also randomizes the entries each time you visit the page, so I can't even say what page my entry is on. Just really poorly executed, but I still want to win and thanks to anyone who goes through the trouble of voting for me!

The easiest way to vote: type Kelly in the search bar at the top. Only two results come up, and mine's not the cute dog.

Link again is http://ulink.tv/g-12130-78250 or http://kxan.com/category/contests/ and if I win I'll get lawn aeration and bragging rights.

Yes we do and many people dont understand it or how protective we are of our state/country.

Not on face book either and I wish people would get it that many of us chose not to be.

Kelly my favorite pictuer is the one of you with that pie you made.

Kelly I am going to reach out to you in this thread in hopes you will see it.
It has nothing to do with pictures but you love of all things goth and I think vampire stuff as well as I do too.
I have no idea if you read or not but I have a suggestion for a set of books you simply have to read if you do.

They are a series of stories written by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell.
The first one in the series is called The Blood Gospel.
There are 4 books in the series I think?
I have read two of them.
Fantastic reads.

Every time I go there - it doesn't show the contest anymore. There are a couple of other contests, but they say they are closed. I would be voting for you if I could.

Haha thanks anyway! No worries, I wouldn't be on FB either except it's the easiest way to keep in touch with family these days.

Well, that's because the voting ended on Friday! Thank you though, Robert, I appreciate it! No idea when they're announcing the winners.

Thanks for the suggestion, Worth, that series looks really interesting and right up my alley! I'll have to check it out once I finish my current read.
