Default Seed starting and growing videos

This is kind of a carry-over from a thread in another forum..

These two videos are about:

1 - Starting tomatoes from seed
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...backyard&hl=en

and
2 - Growing/potting up tomato seedlings
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...backyard&hl=en

Enjoy!

Wow! Organic growing at its finest.. Check THIS video out!

This guy calls it 'Biodynamic gardening'.. but what it boils down to is.. growing in almost pure compost. Check out this plant - It's HUGE!

Quite a promoter.

12' high tomatoes? Is that surprising? Most indeterminate will grow to 50' or more. I have plants now reaching 16' or more. I just don't want to stake them too tall.

He didn't elaborate on the stars and the heavens theory. Does he mean astrology?

4,000 tomatoes! let's see: those look like 4 oz toms. 4,000 x 4oz / 16 = 1,000 lbs! 1/2 of a ton per plant? Sure!

I am very certain that his un-composted trash and meat pile will get you tons of flies, animals and a free stay in the local bighouse in most communities.

However, interesting video.

Thanks sirtanon

Lol, yeah.. I hear you. I never said what my thoughts were on his whole approach to WHY this works.. or his 'religion' or whatever else you want to call it. And 2000 tomatoes on each and every of those plants... or 4000???

Let's just say my first reaction was about right, about 5 seconds into the video..

BLOWHARD

Nevertheless.. it does bring up some interesting points regarding organic matter.

Now, if you'll all sit around and listen.. I've got some miracle fertilizer that I'm using here to grow 50 lb tomatoes...

Here's a sample, right here, sitting on my Atlas statue on my kitchen table:
