Default How early can I transplant?

I 've got a bunch of late-bloomer seedlings that germinated a week ago (about two weeks later than the rest). They don't have first true leaves yet, but have BIG cotyledons. Can I (very carefully) put them into bigger pots with the rest? It would be a lot more covenant to pot them up all at once.

Hi!

I just finished potting up 60 tomato plants into 16 OZ plastic cups two days ago.
Some of my seedlings had the inevitable runt population.
I transplanted the runts that only had cotyledon leaves and they are doing just fine.
I used the same potting mix that I used for the other larger plants.

You should be just fine.

This year I have had a lot of seedlings stuck in the coryledon stage. For some reason they wouldn't grow the second set of leaves. After a month I transplanted onto 12 oz styrefoam cups and they began to grow better and form true leaves I did sow seeds using the dense planting method.

I like the foam cups with a pin hole in the bottom. Fill up a 1/3 of the foam with sand for easy removal and it holds some moisture at the bottom! i like my plants larger about 4 inches for transplanting and start them in larger boxes! it seems they grow a much better root system when replanted at a larger size!
