Default 2008 Tatiana's Tomato pictures - my Picasa Web Albums

My 2008 tomato pictures are now available in the Picasa web albums:

http://picasaweb.google.ca/tatianak.garden

I love browsing them in chronological order, as it shows how the garden progresses each year. Unfortunately this year is the worst I remember - we are at least 2-3 weeks behind harvesting here.

(Not all labels are available yet, but I am in the process of fixing it).

Hi Tania,
I too am rather late with my crop. This waiting is killing me, lol.
In your 2008-08-04 album, two tomatoes caught my eye. The really pointy one (7th pic in) and the long sausage like one near the end of the album- what are these two varieties?

Jeff,

They are Serenity F2 (http://t-garden.homeip.net/mwiki/index.php/Serenity), which is still segregating, and Milano Plum (http://t-garden.homeip.net/mwiki/index.php/Milano_Plum).

I now added captions to the Web Albums.

Tania,

Would you provide some details regarding the construction of those greenhouses? Particularly the tallest one with the person standing by it. I'm not happy with the rounded sides on mine and want to go with a different design on the next greenhouse build.

Thanks,
Jay

Jay,

The greenhouse you are inquiring about is my cucumber greenhouse. The size is 8'x24' and it is 8' tall . The frame is built from 2x2x8 pine and covered with greenhouse plastic. We have 3 'windows' on the roof, and 2 doors - one from each side, which is very adequate for ventilation in our PNW summer days. The temps inside the greenhouse never get above 102-105F if all windows/doors are open.
