I'm impressed Ann123! Wish I could visit your garden. I've been on the lookout for a specimen for several years. but have never seen an orchid in a natural environment around here.

Hi Lisa, you are welcome to visit my small city garden. But I don't understand your reference to orchids. Achocha is an American cucumberlike vegetable. I don't have wild orchids in my garden. My parents do; in the lawn a wild orchid shows up from time to time

Oh my, what a list. I feel so greedy. Every variety I google seems promising and tempting. I would like to grow them all!
I tried to contain myself but failed miserably. Here is my too long wishlist:

Pepper:
Ajvarski
Arroz con pollo
Early jalapeno
Fish pepper
Jimmy Nardello (so excited to try this one!)
Numex twilight
Pink habanero
Purple jalapeno

Beans:
Trionfo Violetto (Tormato, I know a package of beans don't fit in a regular envelop, but would you manage to put 3 or 4 beans in? I'll grow them out not to eat but to save seeds for a harvest the year after)

Flowers:
Bee balm
Calendula orange porcupine

Other vegetables:
Radish purple plum
Lettuce Parris Island Cos
Lettuce Winter density
Tomatillo purple
Kale Red Russian
Watermelon orangeglo

Winter squash:
Delicata
Early butternut
Gold nugget
Lofthouse buttercup
Seminole

This was simply an illustration and a reference to plants that are perceived as tropical but are in fact natives growing in our most northern zones. I didn't know of this until I came upon the book by chance and thought I would share. Sorry for any confusion and thank you for the information.

I was surprised too when my mum said they have wild orchids growing in the lawn. Small flowers, but precious.
Funny that her parents used to grow tropical orchids for a living in the greenhouses in their yard.

(Hope my enveloppe has arrived...)

Finally it arrived. I haven't checked to see if it went through Canada first.

I remember you requested 2 tomato varieties back around August, but I don't remember what they were.

I'll likely start shipping some packages next week, concentrating on newbies (who may be understandably impatient), southern states, and foreign countries. I'm hoping I can get almost everything done in the next two weeks.

I'm still waiting on one or two packages to arrive.

It's been one of those years where many people have had a lot of disruptions going on in their lives.

Trionfo Violetto is a relatively narrow bean, so it should keep the envelope under 1/4". I'll send a first letter with the beans, and with tomato varieties that I can spare to lose (if the letter doesn't pass inspection). I'll have everything else ready to send, except the packaging. I may then decide to go with a small bubble mailer instead of several envelopes.

Question about the seeds from the 2016 MMMM, was anyone able to grow Zatta melons - the seeds were old so germination was iffy.

It looks like my seeds didn't make it to Tormato's mailbox. I'm sorry and disappointed about that.I can't believe how unreliable the post service still is in 2017. I won't give up though and will give it another try next year.
By the way...merry Christmas to everyone.

Aww, Fritz, I'm so sorry to read this! Wow, what a disappointment! Do you know what happened to your seeds?
