I have been adding a few thing to my water of my tomato containers. First it was a little kelp meal. This week, I made up two 2 liter bottles of "tea". But I guess, I add something wrong. I came back to them today after they sat for a few days perking in the sun. I shook them up before giving them to my potted tomatoes. It was carbonated like soda when I opened. It strayed out.

I like to use rabbit manure tea for the tomatoes. I dilute it 1/2 strength with water and water around the drip line. Some use it as a foliar spray too. I stop using the "tea" when the tomatoes set fruit.
