Planting location question
It is too late for this year, but I am thinking of working on this area for the future.
I have a bed that runs around one side of our pool. It starts where the cool decking ends. However, it is OFTEN splashed/flooded with pool water compliments of our kids and their friends. I know the chlorine in the pool is not good for plants, but are there any precautions and/or "after treatments" that I could do to make the bed usable for dwarf tomato plants? (It really is a perfect place for them, but I don't want to kill them because of the water from the pool.) Is this possible (with amendments) or a lost area for planting? Thanks for any advice/opinions. Melissa

You could set tall containers in there, maybe wrap them in
bamboo mesh so that they would be cooler in the sun.
