I can feel the excitement! I'm getting ready but not quite there yet! Congrats on kicking it off!

So far, about 95% germination on the first seed starting. The Peppers have taken the longest to pop their heads up. No damp-off issues (yet).

Ray, can you elaborate on your IncuTainer? How do you let a breath of fresh air to enter. I like the idea.

Naysen,
This Thread will give you more than you ever wanted to know about the IncuTainer: http://www.tomatoville.com/showthrea...ght=incutainer There are air gaps around the base and lid, so oxygen "starvation" is never an issue. Also, while the aquarium heater in theory kept the inside temps elevated above ambient, I never had the sensitive instrumentation to actually measure its effect. As our Spring temperatures ramp up pretty quickly, I also question if the heater in the water reservoir really had a material impact in accelerating seedling development. Something more to experiment with when I get more time - maybe next year. ...and then there is the Ozone Generator still sitting on the shelf which again, I haven't had time to experiment with injecting Ozone into the water reservoir. So much to do....so little time. Fun stuff! Raybo |

I don't think they will. My styrofoam holder has 5 rows, each with 11 Rapid Rooters. This fits into a standard tray. I think your system is configured differently. From when I looked at the Bio-Dome setup, I concluded the openings for the grow plugs were a bit smaller in diameter.
This makes good Marketing sense on the basis that you will likely need to go back to Park Seed for replacement grow plugs season after season. Raybo |

I tried a using the search function on the term, "IncuTainer", but I was denied. The system thinks the term is either too short or long to process. I figured you had a thread for it somewhere though.
I think I'll build 2 or 3 to house next year's early sproutlings into hardening-off phase and then final transplant in ground. Thanks, Naysen |

Naysen,
I just typed in to the Search Tab: incutainer and saw 4 Threads. Unlike InnTainer, there is only one "n" in the first part of IncuTainer. Raybo |

Hi Ray, are you using this (http://gurneys.com/help/a/829/) gurneys seed starting kit for your 55-slot Styrofoam plugger? Just curious, as I like the wicking self-watering aspect of that kit.

List looks great Ray! From what I've seen of your tomatoes, even with your diseases, you still got a great crop, so next year should be awesome for you!
