Default sweet yellow peppers (color)

ive been growing a few sweet yellow pepper plants for the first time.
getting a few that have some color other than yellow. what does this mean
if anything? they dont seem any different feel wise.. not like they are spoiling or anything. any thoughts?

That purple happens sometimes but if they are supposed to be yellow they have to ripen first. They all look green in the picture (not ripe)

yeah, purple just seems to be an immature stage with some peppers.

being way northa you, i have not found a pepper ripening to full yellow that

i can grow, and save seeds from. i always run out of season.

Hello RTVVVV

This has been a Strange year for Peppers for me too. My Carolina Cayenne are very Heaty Plants loaded with Long Green Peppers. I pulled one to cook with last week just trying to let the Rippen but it will be getting cold here soon. My Black Peppers are just getting Ripen, with a Shiny Black Color for the last 2 weeks. I am still waiting for 6 Variety to Ripen or turn near it's true color before pulling them before the cold weather comes.
