Default Harvest is in full swing

Some of the weekends harvest.

the 2nd picture is some that I brought to share with co-workers. Consisted of:

Blue Beauty in the upper left, Grubs Mystery Green, Pink Berkley Tie Dye upper right, Two Volorn on the bottom left, Red barn in the middle, and Berkley Tie Dye Heart and Ann Russian on the bottom right.

Made for some good conversation, and tons of tasty tomato samples! It's getting hard to keep up!

Nice harvest! I'm pretty much a red tomato guy but I am trying some Cherokee Chocolate this year.

Looks great! Still a ways out myself.. I'm jealous

Edit: How do you feel about the blue beauty? I grew them last year.. While they're certainly striking, I wasn't impressed with the flavor..

You know I actually enjoy it quite a bit. And I think ive tried every "Blue" tomato offered by wildboar farms. Not nearly as intesnely flavored as some other reds or pinks tomatoes, but still rather good imo. And mine have been fairly dense and meaty. Last year it didnt fair nearly as well as it has this year, and I might not have grown it if it werent for the looks like you mentioned. People are blown away by it, especially when you slice one. It has earned its place in my garden unitl a better blue comes along.

It would be interesting to see pictures of cut tomatoes and some taste descriptions with/without salt and however else you eat or cook them. Nice varieties too.

Couple more. I thought the "Pac-man" tomato and the "Ghost' pepper were pretty funny.

LOL the pacman mater! The Berkley hearts are really attractive, how is the production/taste on those? Any chance you could post a pic of one sliced. I think for next year my plan is going to be to grow as many striped/freckled/ eye candy pretty varieties as I can. They sell at market and they make good conversation starters.

BTW got the seeds you sent, thanks again. I will get the Bear Creek in the mail this weekend.
