SETTFest Fan Page on Facebook (previous discussion thread)
I have created a SETTFest Fan Page on Facebook in the hope of giving us a little bit more exposure. If you're a Facebook type person be sure to stop by and become a fan and post a comment. SETTFest 2009 enjoyed a great turn out. Let's make 2010 even better. Here's the link.

You've got two http's in the link. I had to remove them both to get the page to open. Cool stuff once you get there!

Is it South East Texas Tomato Festival, or Southeast Texas Tomato Tasting Festival?

You're right Morgan. That's what Suze was trying to tell me but I didn't catch what she was saying. Let me see if I can fix it.

Unfortunately the only way to fix it at this stage is to delete the page and start over. I don't think it will create enough confusion to warrant starting over. My bad. Sorry. I don't know where the tasting thing came from. Wishful thinking I guess.

I double-dare you to say both of them five times fast!

For you Facebooker Tomatovillians we now have 41 fans on the Facebook page. I just updated our status with a link to the SETTFest Homepage and the new event posters. Every time you mention it on your Facebook page it drives a few more people to our Facebook page, the SETTFest home page and ultimately / hopefully to the SETTFest event.

We don't get to taste them? It's too painful to just look at them..... |

New SETTFest Facebook Page
Since I goofed up and named our Facebook page a wrong name and we were having some other issues with the way I initially set it up I have created a new page. I sent Facebook messages to all our fans that I could. Now we need to build up a new fan base. About 25% of the fans on the old page have moved over. If you did not recieve a FB message or never visited the old page please go and visit the new page and hit the LIKE button. Here is the link:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Southe...4056952?ref=ts Thanks for all of your support. I'll be adding stuff to that page from time to time so check back every once in a while. The festival is just a little over a month away. It will be here before we know it. Hope to see you all there. |
