First one to set fruit for me is Anmore Dewdrop. I noticed the first set fruit already when I moved the plants from indoors to greenhouse April 17th.
Today the first ones are ripe.

First fruit set is a 4-way tie for me between: Carbon Copy, Sungold, Experiment Yellow PL Cherry, and Gold Rush Currant. I'll have to check tonight if any larger fruited tomatoes have set babies yet.

Just checked my large tomatoes, Wisconsin 55 and Stupice are the first, both have tiny tomatoes today. The Sungold and Gold Rush Currant will likely race to 1st ripe, those fruits are growing faster than the other cherries.

My first every year is a Dwarf Tomato Project variety that we're still stabilizing (It's F5 this year.) It's called Dwarf Galen's Yellow and it's a cross between Galina's Yellow and Golden Dwarf Champion. It's a half ounce gold cherry which is early and really tasty. Usually around 52 days or so... There are so many on this plant, I have lost count. It is now 46 days in the ground inside a Wall O'Water and there is a cluster at the bottom with tomatoes that are approximately the size I am expecting. Patience is not my best thing.

Sigh. I had two of this plant that were started back in February but one died. This remaining plant is exceeding expectations. It looks to be very prolific and nearly every blossom is setting fruit. I just hope it tastes good! Still segregating for taste.

Everything else is coming along nicely. Everything has buds and Pink Bumblebee is blooming as of two days ago.

My first fruit this year have been from a compact saladette tomato called Cole. The fruit are red and look like mini-beefsteaks. Flavor is good, hardly any seeds.

I already posted about Carbon Copy. Yellow pear right behind. I have a lot of big ones close, especially Spudakee.
It's so hard for me to know this year as my planting period lasted 6 weeks. The ones left in the greenhouse in tiny pots are much smaller but they sure have stout stems, from being trenched for 2-3 feet!

Peg’s Round Orange is quick to set first fruit but then it sets more and more and I am loosing my patients. The other one that is early is Taxi.
The one that really surprised me was Sara black. The plant is small but has 3 nice size tomatoes on it already.

I have already posted my first : HAHMS GELBE TOPFTOMATE (yellow cherry dwarf)
New joiners to the club are Big Beef and Indigo Rose, Brandy Boy. I have not checked closely all my nearly 50 plants. There could be some hiding somewhere.

I have couple of dozen varieties yet to set fruits. Right now it is a high drama situation in my garden.... Will she ..?
