Mighty Grow Organics Living Organic Fertilizer 4-3-4.. Opinions?
Came across this today in the hardware store on sale for $3.97 per 12 lbs. Sounded like a fair deal at that price.
Anyone know anything about it or ever used it? |

That is not a bad price for that type of fertilizer but if you know anyone who raises chickens you can get it a lot cheaper. From looking at the ingredients on many of the dry organic fertilizers they seem to be mostly chicken house waste with a little of this and a little of that thrown in and they are usually much more expensive than the price you quoted. I would certainly buy it for that price. Straight composted chicken manure was 8 dollars for 20 lbs two years ago at our local Lowes; but I haven't noticed it this year or even if they are carrying it. It did smell pretty bad even in the bag. It may have been composted but it sure smelled fresh.

Well the deal got even sweeter. Got 80lbs out the door for less than ten bucks.
