That is a neat idea, harvesting with nets. I didn't know that was done, or that there were varieties for it.

I grew Matt's Wild Cherry last summer. It's a never-again for me. The fruit, in addition to being tiny, also like to explode before they make it out of the garden. It's like a survival trait of the plant, the ability to spew seeds everywhere when slightly disturbed. That problem would have to be addressed in anything net-harvested.

My wife sells at market. As long as they are picked it doesn't matter how long it takes me. I prefer larger tomatoes but we grow a few large cherries. One year grew Gardeners Delight a prolific good tasting mini cherry never again, took too long to pick. Little pea sized #$%^&*
