Default French grey griselle shallots - storage?

I'm thinking of planting these this fall and was wondering about your experiences with them. Do they store well? Easy to grow?

They do store well. They grow well here but keep in mind they're smaller than a regular shallot like the red French shallots. The tops are smaller and so are the bulbs. Great flavor though. I will be planting some in November.

They're foolproof to grow, if you plant them in the fall.

Default I've ordered some sets.

Thanks for your feedback. I went ahead and ordered a pound of sets to plant this fall.

If I can ask, where did you find them available?

Foolproof maybe, but I don't know about teenproof. The neighbor's teens and all their friends play soccer, basketball, baseball etc... If my newly planted shallot bed is between them and a loose ball, do you think they go around, or through?
