I wonder how the tomatoes compare in taste. I like these for sauce, not really for BLTs or anything like that. Probably okay in salads. I never eat tomatoes in salads.

Upthread, post 10, @tormato suggests early tomatoes lack flavor, but we've anticipated them and are happy.

I did not grow Kotlas this year, but did grow JSS3570, from which Kotlas was selected.

BB and Stupice taste sweet and "thinner" than JSS3570. But fruit size and shape are quite uniform: JSS3570 delivers everything from small cherries to misshapen 6oz blobs.

But taste is subjective, and what I like is possibly not exactly what you do. My wife loves the sweet cherries best, while my affinity leans towards "old-fashioned" tomato flavor, with a lingering tartness.
