Stunning pictures neighbor! Save me some seeds of Grandma Oliver's Chocolate for next season if you have enough. Season is great so far! Having some German Johnson PL tomatoes with dinner. Had some ARGG for breakfast in my omelet. Wish my son was here..he could take pictures of my green tomatoes too!

PS Caprese almost as pretty as the plants, almost.

Bugs- I had about 30,000 thrips descend on my tomatoes overnight about 2 weeks ago, got them with the permethrin, yellow sticky traps were loaded with them too. They were just there that one day, but now I have either Septoria(rained and lots of morning dew) or TSWV. Does it take 2 weeks to show up? No yellowing or wilting so far, and the university websites all say it isn't passed on in the seeds, so at least there is that.

I will, you gotta grow the Not chocolate stripes too, producing like there's no tomorrow, they are delicious, and they have an almost multiflora sort of beefsteak set that to the fruit. I gave you seeds of that already Douglas, trust me you just have to grow it. And I think it has enough acid to suit you and make you happy too. It's totally stable.

Can't wait for your season-end evaluations of all your tomatoes Marsha. It's almost time for us here in So CA to start seeds, I'm getting excited. My cool-season veggies like lettuces, peas & turnips are doing horrible this year, I've given up on them already. No rain, no gain. On to the summer "real" vegetables!

Have you been safe from those awful fires?

Thanks for asking Marsha, I am far far away from those terrible fires. I live a few miles from the ocean on very flat land, no hills or greenery around here so fires are quite rare. If you hear about any oil refinery blasts, however, do inquire about me as there is one in my city.

Ugh! But I think it might just be Septoria, they look almost the same, but it's acting more like the fungus, thank goodness. Been trimming a lot today, will spray the copper tomorrow.

Progress on Rebel Alliance, first round of fruit forming well, I know from last year that these will ripen, then a second round, then a third round will mature.
