The staggered start and planting has worked well in preventing having too much ready at once. This was the first cauliflower I cut on Dec 12. It was about 7" across and about a pound and a half.
![]() Yesterday I cut the second one as temps were going to get down to 26 in the morning and I didn't want the head to freeze. This one is about 6" across and 1 lb 5 oz. There's another one coming along and it's about the size of my fist right now. ![]() The first Charleston Wakefield cabbage was cut the other day. It was just about 1.5 lbs and is now sitting in two fermenting jars to become kimchi. ![]() |
