Default Tomato Plants Growing Everywhere

Here's some pictures of all the tomato plants that are growing outside my tunnel that seeded by themselves. The last 3 pics of tomatoes in containers were some that I pulled from the ground and transplanted them a while back. Last year I harvested about 1200 pounds of tomatoes and obviously some of the seeds got scattered and decided to grow. I found a couple of rogue PL plants that I transplanted to see what develops. I hope they grow well and taste good.

This is why I don't grow Matt's Wild Cherry.

I planted Matt's Wild Cherry last year and it's everywhere this year. I let one or two grow. Better than all the weeds that reseeded everywhere, at least.

I have a volunteer cherry I have not deliberately planted in 5 years. They are everywhere in the garden and are even coming up in the flower beds (spread by birds I suppose). I don't remember what the original plant was, but the fruits look like Sungold. I allow a few to grow at the edge of the garden because I like the flavor.

Two years ago this September; I pitched a couple of splitting black cherry tomatoesinto a raised bed because I was too lazy to carry them around to the 'slop pail'. The following spring; up come tomato plants along with my spinach. I hung some 'garden twine' from the edge of the roof just to see what would happen. Result? Eight-foot high black cherry plants crawling onto the roof, pounding out loads of 'free tomatoes'. Last year, I had late-season maters fall off into a couple of other raised beds. These were Eva's Purple Ball, Goose Creek, Blush, Dr. Carolyn's Pink, Sungold Select, and few others. Now I have hundreds of them coming up...OMG!!! This is going to be a FUN summer...
