Fresh off the press, the featured article in the January 2013 West Virginia University Magazine:

One doesn't often see an heirloom variety get this much coverage! I don't (yet...) have much of an issue with blight, but for those who have grown West Virginia 63 alongside other varieties during a late blight episode, does it indeed live up to it's billing?

I've grown it for the past two years. It's a tasty tomato of average/standard size, production, color and shape. It sounds like an excellent variety to market to the general (i.e. less adventurous) consumer.

I grew West Virginia Straw last year for the first time and got several tomatoes over 1 1/2 lbs. but it was a little mild for my taste.
