My brother used to grow Trip-L Crop and that tomato in the pic does not look like it. Is that tomato ruffled? Maybe it's just the pic...

FYI, Trip-L Crop grows great in a hospital room, LOL. My brother would start one in a ten gallon pot and it would grow to the ceiling and then along the ceiling. He used fishing line to tie it to a post and then somehow to the ceiling (lifted the ceiling panels maybe?). Anyway, it drove the nurses nuts, but they put up with it.

Here's a picture taken today of my Triple Climber. As soon as the temps cooled down got fruit set and the fruit have really taken off. Ami

That looks good, Ami. Loaded with nice-sized tomatoes. That's what I imagined it should look like. Mine is still with few fruit, but in my quick trip through the greenhouse to water this morning, I believe I noticed the tiniest bit of a blush on one fruit. I'll have to confirm that this afternoon.

This is how my outdoor Triple Climbers are looking this week. There are quite many fruit growing under all those leaves. Weather has cooled a lot, so soon we will know what is too cold for these.

Sari -- Yours are looking very nice too. By comparison, mine are producing very little, but the few fruit I do have are larger right now than shown in your picture (I think). It's getting quite cool here in evenings too.

I picked this tomato this morning. Obviously, it's not quite ripe yet. It was a little dark in the greenhouse and I think I was just a little over-eager. Normally I would have waited a couple more days.

Right now it looks pink to me. It's supposed to be red, isn't it?

Sherry, it's supposed to be Red accoding to the originator. Check the epidermis color after it ripens. Ami

It's pink for sure. And the taste was a real disappointment. Very bland. It was the least tasty tomato I've had this season. Drat!

Well, I got some that should be ripening up in a week or so and will see how they taste. Hopefully we don't end up with a double Drat! Ami

Here is my plant as of yesterday really loading up. A couple fruits are starting to turn and hopefully will have some ripe fruits this weekend. Ami

A picture of the larger of the tomatoes from the plant. The flavor was pretty blah but do to this summer's weather I am sure. The plants have been taken down now.

Sue -- A little hard to tell from the photo, but were yours pink too?

Yes they were but all mine were shaped like above and none shaped like yours.

Mine are are quite large but still green. Shape is about same as Sherrys one. First frost may come next week, so I may have to pick them green and try to ripen indoors.

I picked mine green and let them ripen indoors also. They were ready tho as it happened very quickly.
