small, orange tomato with.green and red stripes
Hi! Last year a friend loved a small or cherry tomato that was orange with green and red stripes. Can anyone give me a list of possible identities? Thanks.

Hello Harborseal
I would guess Mr. Stripey or Elbeta Peach.

Was it round or elongated? Normal size cherry (say, up to the size of a quarter) or bigger like a cocktail/saladette tomato?
Maybe one of the Bumble Bee tomatoes (Pink, Purple or Sunrise), Red Zebra, Lucky Tiger, Green Zebra Cherry, or Brad's Atomic Grape. Check out Wild Boar Farms (Brad Gates) and Bene Seeds (formerly Artisan Seeds/Fred Hempel). Both developed lots of striped tomato varieties. |
