Default Any Tomatolebrities Going to the Thailand Roundtable?

Looks like soooo much fun. I imagine a lot of the discussion would be above my head but between foreign travel and tomato talk, it has me wishing I had an extra $4K burning a hole in my pocket.

I'm not registering until I see the list of presenters and topics.

Those who attend who are professional breeders from a University or one of the many companies that do so around the world have no problems with cost b'c with the University folks their grants pay for it and for the companies the companies pick up the tab.

That I know b'c I used to make presentations at the Amercican Microbiology Society Conferences and there were folks from many countries there and for sure my tab was picked up by grant money as well.

So I wouldn't expect to see any truly independent tomato breeders there unless they had spare cash or a wallet full of plastic cards, which I find unlikely, knowing some of those independent breeders, as many of us already know of.

I am about as amateurish as you can get and if this was scheduled right after I came home flush with deployment money in 2010 I would probably have a ticket booked. I am about to get my DBA at the county clerk's office and now I am wondering if your tax deductions can exceed your business gross.
