Organic it is not. I'm a little leery when they don't list the compounds it is composed of. This compound is most likely has no microelements and is straight nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium. Check out the following link and look at the PPM chart for tomatoes. It will give you an idea how they adjust the nutrient concentrations during the different growth phases. You will also see why they say if used for hydro you need calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate. Ami
