This is a beautiful tomato- thanks Andrey! They are fluted like a Costuluto Genovese, but get very large, often over 1 pound. The taste is quite good, not excellent- but good!

Vladimir,I just noticed that the name on the seed pack was the original name that Clara offered it as and I still have a pack of those old seeds that she sent to me.

But then she did some more research and found what she called Zlulta Kytice, which looks nothing like what is shown on your seed pack.I originally listed it in a seed offer as the rajek one,not the right spelling, and Clara came back and told me it was Zluta Kytice,which I put on the front page of the offer where every one would know that.

OK,look at the also known as and you'll see the other name I was referring to.

I love Zluta Kytice, one of the best multifloras I've ever grown.

Darin, I have grown Brutus out this year as well. It is a beautiful tomato, the darkest brightest red and very large. I will post a pic of one in my garden later today.
Strong traditional tomato flavour and should make a gorgeous red sauce.
I would definately grow it again.

You know, you're right- they are the brightest red! But they are pink, right? I didn't check the epi. I will most definitely grow again! Here's a pic I'm recycling from this summer:

They are red rather than pink. Yellow epi. That is such a whimsical salt shaker.

They are RED indeed. Beautiful large fluted deep red beefsteaks. I really like this one, it is doing very well for me in ground in my new one garden. Plant remains healthy zero issues so far almost mid August.
Thank you for the seeds Marsha and I would definately grow it again!

Wow, that is a beaut!!! Thanks for the epi info- it definitely is a bright red!

Marsha- that is my wife's little cheeseburger shaker- we have one for the salt too. It's fitting for the tomato/hamburger season

Just to mention The ones not fully ripe shown in the first pic behind the Brutus are not Brutus. They are another variety.
