I put the cooker here because it will be a fast cheap way for me to cook single serving meals for supper.

Used the other part of the pork stew meat tonight and made some milk poached pork and cilantro rice, some garlic cheese toasts. Came out very good, and the rice was perfect with the extra gravy over it. Cost was less than $1.25 for 2 servings, 1 saucepan and so very little clean up to boot.

Wow that was fast, 1 hour and 15 minutes after I placed the order on line for the new gasket and weight gauge I got an email saying they were shipped with a tracking number.
![]() Company was The Cooking and Canning Company whom I have used before. Last night I did something I have never done before and will do from now on. While cooking pasta I timed the fettuccine for 11 minutes. I made meatballs a little smaller than a golf ball about 1/2 size smaller. At 5 or 6 minutes I put the meatballs in the pasta water and cooked them. Once the pasta timed out I poured the water off and added a bit of Bertolli Alfredo sauce and stirred it up. Adding black pepper and fennel seeds. One kettle cooking. Next time I will put the meatballs in a separate kettle with spiced up water and cook at about 160F to 170F for 10 minutes so it doesn't cook out all the fat. But they were still good and a very economical way to cook meatballs not using up all the energy to bake in an oven.

Got a mini chocolate cherry cake thingy disaster going on.
The house smells like burned sugar and chocolate. Had no idea it would rise that much and over flow. ![]()

Risotto tonight, green onion and cilantro, 2 servings, just under 75¢ for both.
