I could be wrong, but I think French Egg Zuchinni is from a cooking recipe.

Ronde de Nice?

I grew a round zucchini one year, but that was the year I got tons of squash bugs, so I haven't grown them again. I don't recall if it was Ronde de Nice or Eight Ball.

But this year I'm throwing caution to the wind and growing one of the Korean roundish (avocado shape) squashes, Teot Bat Put. I got seed from Kitazawa.

I have grown Ronde de Nice and I am growing the Italian version later this summer, the dark green one. The French one is a lighter shade of green. Is that the kind of zucchini you're talking about?
