And I thought we had a lot of rain in Maine.....May actually see sun and 70's over the next few days.
Not to laugh at this but the pic with the thumbs up is hilarious. My co worker and I was just talking about how wet the garden is. Nothing compared to this.

We just had winds around 50 to 60 mph ahead of the rain. A 2 inch or more limb was ripped off of the black oak tree near our container garden - I guess I do still have some reflexes because I quickly got away from it.

We've had three frost warnings overnight in the past week - no actual frost here though. It's continuing a bit cooler than normal, except for sunny days inland which may have hit 70 F, and seems like an old fashioned 'bergey' summer where the breeze is always chilly. The only thing that's really unusual is how little wind we've been having. Except for a few isolated days in the past month we have had no more than a light breeze. Becalmed!

finally summer weather here. temps are in the high 70s to low 80s. night time temps
are staying in the 50s consistently. we had some needed rain over a couple days.
sunny, and blue sky right now with puffy white clouds.
now, is a good time to visit the area. everything is lush and green. camp grounds are all open. miles and miles scenic roads with no traffic lights for the motorcycle enthusiasts.
watch out for deer. they are all over the place. bring bug dope.

A week long period of high air pressure has meant frosts and each day they get colder, though this morning has not being as cold as the anticyclone is starting to move east allowing warmer sub tropical air to drift down over the islands, -5C frost this morning but yesterday saw a -6C. Yuck hate winter

Default Heavy rain, hail, and lots of wind, lightening

Some of my neighbor's banana trees just blew across the fence. A minor inconvenience...

That is definitely hot! And dangerous if your society is not equipped to handle such temperatures.

Yesterday they were calling for 100 and 101 here Tuesday and Wednesday but I see now they've backed it off to 99 and 98. Not much difference byt there's something about seeing three digits that makes it psychologically hotter!

I just heard the rest of the summer forecast. Above normal rainfall and below average temperatures. Wow!

For me 100 km from Prague the whole June is extremely warm. Tomatoes must be watered every other day, and I had to shade them from the south for pollen.

Been enjoying the lower temperatures in the morning.
Can turn the thermostat up to 78 F during the day and it doesn't come on till I get home to turn it down.
