Default Goji Faranji

I got Goji Faranji in a trade from someone here many years ago. I've grown it several times and it's a decent medium large red beefsteak type tomato from Iran.

This last Saturday at the farmers market a college age girl that looked Middle Eastern spotted it and her eyes lit up. And when she saw my description that it was from Iran she showed her boyfriend. So I asked her what Goji Faranji meant. It's just the term they use for tomato. The literal translation is "foreign plum" but that is what they call tomatoes.

Wow, that was cool! Must have given her a happy moment, good for you, plus you got a bit more information, too.
