I don't really have that many, but KBX was one that I really wanted for this year. Yes, I do have Indian Stripe. Thinking about a trade?

When I get home saturday, I can give you a better idea of how many I have.

I know exactly what you mean.

I thought I had a great collection of tomatoes til I joined here about 2 months ago. So many of the varieties spoken of highly, I had never even heard of.

Thru trades I now have about 50 new varieties to grow this spring. If I don't get overwhelmed with them all, I should have a good list for next year's trades. I know I'll have a time getting seeds from ALL of my tomatoes.

I don't know how some of the members here do it. Especially those that are posting lists that look like they have 3-500 names on them.

Truth to be told though, I am going to limit myself this year to about half as many as I grew last year. That was about 600 plants with 150 varieties. This year, 5 rows of tomatoes and less than 300 plants is grounds for a sigh of relief.

Casey's Heirloom seeds has KBX. He is listed in the seed sources on this web site. I think he may post here on TV also.

I'm way past addict and distributor, and moved on to middleman.

In the Available for Trade section, under "just finished these up this morning..." (dwlcrl), David should still have some of the 4,000+ KBX seeds I sent him.

Just a heads up that Sandhill now has KBX listed on their website. They have also listed Jaune Flamme' as available since I was able to include a few thousand seed. Between KBX and JF, I have my favorite two orange tomatoes.

Carolyn, to answer an earlier question you had, the KBX seed that I grew came from Martha. They were highly consistent and exactly as described.

Popping in to comment - I've been a bit distracted with family events the past month or so and haven't been to the boards in a while (shame on me, I know).

As the discoverer of KBX I am so thrilled that it has now taken on a life of it's own and has spread all over the world and is now becoming available from seed suppliers.

Thank you Darrell for producing the seeds for Glenn. Like you said, I had sent the seed to Carolyn for Glenn to try. She mentioned that she had sent it to you for trial and possible large scale production. (I don't have the space for enough plants to gather 700, let alone 7000 seeds!).
I've also sent seeds to Linda at TGS, maybe it will be in the 2010 catalog.
