Default Tomato Quote

Saw this today, and since it involves our favorite, here it is:

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

I'll add:

Wisdom is not putting into the ground until all danger of frost is over.

Hope you all had a great 4th.

Thanks for the plug! Can't say that I'm the only one to ever come up
with that quote, but I've never seen it said anywhere else.

I would add that Sungold is the only one that could go into a fruit salad, probably melons, peaches and the like.

Unless you live on the Gulf Coast. And I hope you had a good 4th too. I'm in Houston right now and went to the Fireworks show last night. It was awesome.

As a tomato lover who wishes she could grow them year round, I'm very jealous!

I'm kidding, of course--besides, I know you have bugs and creepy-crawlies down there that would scare the stuffings out of me if I ran into them while gardening.

A belated Happy 4th to all.
