Default Happy heart day

Happy Valentine’s Day everybody!
I am a big fan of heart shaped tomatoes as many people know and have quite a big collection of heart varieties collected over the years in addition to my True North series And I’m interested in what heart varieties people are growing this year?

This year I'm currently planning to plant:
Dotson's Lebanese Heart
Red Lithium
Anna Russian
Russian 117
Fish Lake Oxheart
Swoon
Zena's Gift (A KarenO discovery I believe)
Joe's Pink Oxheart (planning to give at least one seedling to a good friend named Joe)

Fish Lake and Red Lithium are the only 2 I've grown before. The list is still subject to change on a daily basis and I'm considering giving your midnight sun a try. Looks gorgeous, but I usually find yellow/orange/bicolors a little too sweet/mild for my preferences. Would you describe it as more of a mild flavor or does it have a bit of zing?

Love the title !!! Have Zena's Gift on the list ! Utilities are asking us to cut back on electric use due to the freeze. May have to huddle under the covers with the peppers if the heat goes off!

Hope everyone is having a good day and staying safe and warm.

Fred, I absolutely love that photo. You made it look like a jewel.
Zendog, I don’t find midnight sun mild in flavour at all . It has a rich delicious fruity taste and quite a bit of tang if it’s eaten as Fred showed it, the flavour gets sweeter with further ripening but at no point is it bland or one dimensional. You’ll just have to try for yourself someday

Vyrostu další srdce pro mne osvědčené : Brad´s Black Heart, Orange Russian 117, Alice, Fresa, Orange Strawberry a Ludmila´s Pink Heart. Also new to me: Taiga and Tundra.

I’m trying your Midnight Sun (along with Polaris and Miracle) and Curtis Cheek. Tried Dwarf Purple Heart last year, but it did not seem to be at its best flavor wise in my garden.
