U could use the 4-18-38 in soil growing because, bottom line, it is fertilizer.
But it is a dilute solution per the instructions, so you are watering/feeding small volumes multiple times every day. |

Mine will be for pots, fabric and plastic, and on a constant feed with watering.

Cole Robbie,
Two dollars a day isn't bad really, it's not like it's on all year. I might look into that, secondhand grow stuff is dirt cheap here. |

Check your power rate. It should be on your bill. I'm sitting next to a big coal-fired power plant, so mine is cheap. I don't know about CO, but on the east coast where power is the most expensive, they pay about double what I pay.

Cole didn't you use TTF last year? I seem to remember you praising it but not sure.

My babies and their future home
I am getting ready to split up my mass planted dwarf project babies, and knew I needed a great light to get them off to a great start. I googled for ideas, and then went to lowes. I attached some pictures of the light and my seedlings.
I used the frame of an old laundry hamper, an old water heater vent pipe, and then the fixtures and cord and such I bought. I don't pretend to understand the light needs of plants, but know that these bulbs do grow healthy plants, as I have been using others like them since December. They are the cfl bulbs from walmart, great value brand. They come out to be about 2.00 per bulb, use 23 watts, and put out 1600 lumens each. Carrie |

Nice light. It looks like something I would make.
Do you recall what kind of CFL bulbs they are, as in cool white, day light, or soft white? |

They are soft white. They come in a 4 pack for about 8 dollars. They really do great for my plants.

I used 12 of those same lights in bright daylight 6500K.
Yours and mine are equal to 100 watts each so you have 400 watts going. Worth |

Yep, I am starting to really like cfl's...get the light of 4 100 watt bulbs, but use less electricity than one.

Getting their first glimpse of the sun on a rare 70 degree day in February, peppers in foreground, tomatoes in the back.

BigVanVader, you can use it, but it is strong, you will use less in the garden. Growmore is a popular field fertilizer that works great
