Default sunscald?

do peppers get sunscald? 1st time growing peppers and trying to pinpoint what happened to a giant marconi.

Unfortunately, yes they can. The damage looks the same as on a tomato.

No problem- here at the right time. If leaf cover is missing sometimes a piece of shadecloth or floating row cover is enough to prevent more from being damaged.
