Default Seedlings

Coming along. Plans are to transplant mid-May, if it EVER warms up enough here in the DC area.

Dan,

Looking great!

What is the variety at about 4 o'clock (far right) with the very narrow leaves?

Raybo, a few marigold seedlings were too large for the other lamp set so I had to put them there. Since that picture was taken all marigolds have been transplanted and are doing great.

Thanks, Ginny. Very kind of you. That marigold variety is called Cracker Jack, from Botanical Interests. It's description says it grows 2'-3'. I transplanted the marigolds to the periphery of my garden (outside of the deer fence) 2 weeks ago and already have several blooms, just not from that variety. Since marigolds are so hearty they do not require a hardening off period so they went straight from inside to the garden. Next year I want to start the marigolds in those 6-pack cells and leave them there until transplant time.
